📖 Lisha Mencari Kerja (part 2)

    Lisha was writing her application letter, but she felt the sentences were too repetitive. Lisha sedang menulis surat lamaran kerjanya, tapi ia merasa kalimat-kalimatnya terlalu berulang. She wrote: “Lisha is a graduate from vocational school. Lisha has many skills. Lisha hopes the company will accept Lisha.” Ia menulis: “Lisha adalah lulusan dari sekolah kejuruan. Lisha memiliki banyak keterampilan. Lisha berharap perusahaan menerima Lisha.”

Lisha is climbing a mountain. She is very excited.

    When she read it again, she thought, “This sounds strange!” Ketika ia membacanya kembali, ia berpikir, “Kok terdengar aneh ya!” Then, she remembered what her teacher had taught: use pronouns to make the sentence smoother. Lalu, ia teringat apa yang pernah gurunya ajarkan: gunakan pronoun agar kalimat lebih enak dibaca. So she changed it into: “I am a graduate from vocational school. I have many skills. I hope the company will accept me.” Maka ia mengubahnya menjadi: “Saya adalah lulusan dari sekolah kejuruan. Saya memiliki banyak keterampilan. Saya berharap perusahaan menerima saya.” Lisha finally smiled, because she understood that pronouns help her write more naturally and clearly. Lisha akhirnya tersenyum, karena ia mengerti bahwa pronoun membuat tulisannya lebih alami dan jelas.

📘 Pronoun (Kata Ganti)

✨ Apa itu Pronoun?

Pronoun adalah kata ganti yang dipakai untuk menggantikan noun (kata benda) agar kalimat tidak berulang-ulang.
Contoh:

• Rina is a student. She is smart.

• (Rina adalah seorang siswa. Dia pintar.)

      Kalau tidak pakai pronoun:

• Rina is a student. Rina is smart. → terasa aneh dan berulang.

📌 Jenis-Jenis Pronoun

1. Subject Pronoun (kata ganti sebagai subjek)

Digunakan sebagai pelaku dalam kalimat.

• I (saya/aku)

• You (kamu/Anda)

• He (dia laki-laki)

• She (dia perempuan)

• It (dia/benda/hewan)

• We (kami/kita)

• They (mereka)

Example:

• She is my best friend.

• They are playing football.

2. Object Pronoun (kata ganti sebagai objek)

Dipakai setelah kata kerja atau preposisi.

• Me (saya/aku)

• You (kamu/Anda)

• Him (dia laki-laki)

• Her (dia perempuan)

• It (dia/benda/hewan)

• Us (kami/kita)

• Them (mereka)

Example:

• I like him.

• Can you help us?

3. Possessive Adjective (kata ganti kepemilikan + diikuti noun)

Menunjukkan kepunyaan dan harus diikuti kata benda.

• Our (punya kita)

• Their (punya mereka)

Example:

• This is my book.

• Itself (dirinya sendiri benda/hewan)

• Ourselves (diri kita sendiri)

• Yourselves (dirimu sekalian)

Ia tidak lagi mengulang-ulang namanya, tetapi menggunakan “I”, “my”, dan “me” dengan benar.
